OK, what is the opinion of all of you on the best NOS kit for a basically stock LS1? I've been looking at the Venom 2000, TNT, and NX. how about schooling me so I can get one on order like ASAP.

The best LS1 NOS kit is the 5177. (the only one)
There are quite a few good N2O kits, the TNT F1 is really nice.

 

You really believe the 5177 is better than the TNT F1 or NX Mass Air Kits? You are the first to say this. Can I ask why you come to this conclusion? I just want to be sure for myself.

Now I really do feel stupid. OK, I have lined out the NOS kit and the Venom. I am going to get either the TNT F1 or the NX wet with the Mass Air ring. I guess I would like to know if anyone has tried either or both? I hear good raves for the TNT, but hear nothing on the NX. Does NX also rate at the wheels like TNT?

 

I can't comment on the NX kit, but the TNT F-1 is working great for me. The TNT jet rating is at the rear wheels of a stock car, a modded car will vary (more than rated HP shot).

 

TNT is the only kit that rates power at the real wheels. I don't know much about the NX kit but the TNT F1/F2 are very nice, excellent quality.

NX also rates at the rear wheels.

I would get whatever you can get a better price on.

My friend is a NX dealer, so that would be my choice. but if he was TNT i woudl go with that.

I personally woudl rather dump fuel into the motor, than rely on the computer to add it when spraying, so thats why i woudld go wet. (NX or TNT only)
