Looks like the rules will have us around 3250.. I think the Cathedral port rule is vague, I would say we could be 3200 with that weight break... However we will come prepared either way.
OEM Cathedral Port head deduct 50 lbs.
IMHO, I read this as OEM design... Because it does not say it has to be a factory casting, it just says OEM cathedral port... Which our Dart heads maintain factory valve angle, and cathedral port design, an LS1 manifold would bolt to this head no problem..

But, just to be clear, Original Equipment Manufacturer is the OEM deal, which means the Dart heads will not get the 50-lb break. But, I have a feeling you're not going to need it anyway!

Holy smokes you did work last night..
Those are old Lakewood struts with a coil over conversion I believe..
It has Strange DA's on the front now, and Affco DA's in the rear with Madmans valving..
Headers, WE THINK... Think being the key word, will be behind the tire... Im gunna lay a few pipes in there this weekend and see how it looks.

A 1/16 a side larger! lol
That's how I want to do his headers. Notching the firewall on both sides won't be a big deal.. Driver side will be a bitch trying to fit it in and around the steering shaft and master cylinder.

Over the weekend we started on cutting the firewall for the headers, and also got the rear tin work stenciled up. Aluminum is suppose to show up today so we can start making peices. Heres some pics of the progress...
