When you spray right out of the hole? I have not had to face this problem, since I have had the 10 bolt, and spraying out of the hole is not an option. I have the 12 bolt coming, & wondered if I should raise the stall, or get another one. I will be spraying right out of the hole now

 

4300. I was very cautious tonight due to my stock fuel pump and it was a good idea. I put my window switch at 3800 on and 5600 off. Ran a 10.91@123. Had to cut the nitrous off at the 1000ft mark. It fell on its face it went so lean. 10's on a stock fuel pump wont work. I did change the window settings to 3400-5800 and went from a 6.99@100.3 1/8 to a 6.89@101.6 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> but it really fell on its face and I had to let off and still went 10.93. The vig3200 is perfect for a 100-150 shot for sure. Next weekend, walbro 340, 150 shot and 3000-6000 settings on the window switch. I think she can go 10.70's on a 100 and 10.40's on a 150. I still have the stock plugs also so on with the tr-6's and msd wires.Not too shabby for an internal stock motor and hit your head on the steering wheel TM. Damn the TM under nitrous is horrid <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

 

Blk SS, I just installed the vig3200 and have only tried it on the street. Going to the track tonight and launching on a 100 TNT. It seems to flash about 46-4800 with 3.73's and 26 inch slicks. I will tell you tomarrow the exact but thats ballpark. My tp4400 was about 5500 which wouldn't work. The vig3200 is perfect in my street testing assumption. I like it.

 

I have managed to run a 10.86, with a posi that was on the way out. When I had it dyno tuned, the car leaned out with the 100 shot, but we compensated for that by keeping the same nitrous jet, & switching to the 150 shot fuel jet. It worked out much safer that way. It was probably leaning out because of the fuel pump also. I know I have to change that.
I think I'll wait until I switch cams & the rear end, to see where the car stalls at, before I send it in for an upgrade. I have suspected all along that the 3200 would be just about perfect on nitrous. Thanks for confirming the flash points. Please keep me updated when you switch out the fuel pump & go back at it again. I think I'll call on the fuel pump today, & get that out of the way.
It's looking like I'm not going to get any times on mine for a few more weeks. Still waiting for parts to show up.

 

What is your gear in the rear & do you also have head & cam in the car?

 

I have a stock internal motor, no heads or cam. I do have some killer 5.3's that are awesome and 2 cams to install.One is a 230 and the other a 226XER. I just want to see how far I can push it internally stock. I'm pretty sure it has at least 1 slightly bent pushrod cause she sure is getting a nasty tick at idle. I run 3.73's now and 27 inch qtp's. I have some 28x10.5 mt's ready to mount. I run 4.10's and 26 inchers when running N/A. Takes me 2 hrs to swap em out.The walbro is going in today. Will take it back out next thursday night. I want to try the 150. Hope she holds.

 

Good luck to both of you. I'm just in the process of getting my n/a times down with this converter and bolt ons. I had the same flash point as Y2K Blackbird. I was 12.79 @ 104mph w/ 1.71 60ft. when it was just the Vig3200/air lid/loudmouth, then with a 100shot it went down to 11.54 @ 116mph w/ 1.58 60ft launching on the juice. Autotap shows 4100-4400 flash, depends on where I would stall it up to on launch.

Y2K Blackbird what is your 60fts.I have a 02ss macs,lid,fra,maf ends,hpp3without tuning installed,373s,vig3200,maft,& nx 100.My 60fts were 1.70 on etstreets couldnt run but a damn 7.42 this sucks.

 

were you running on 16" e.t. streets? traction is the biggest thing. both of the guys in this thread have some pretty lightweight cars, which will greatly help there 60ft's. what weight reduction if any do you have? do you have any kind of modifications that would help your 60ft? LCA's, torque arm, HAL adjustable shocks?

I was on 16" ets.All my suspension is stock,skinnies,no back seat,1/4 tank of gas,no jack or spare,no front swaybar.

 

those 3.73's with the vig3200 are pretty hard to launch on i've been told <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> that's the combo i want to do as well, how do you like them for n/a? anyways, do you have a window switch? are you spraying out the hole as well? cause i know i set my window switch for 3200 but it would launch n/a for just a sec and then the rush would hit from the juice. so i lowered it to 3000 and then i was launching on the juice. that's when it went to 1.58. that's my best, most of them were 1.61-1.63. i have a full weight car too with the vig, lid, and exhaust like i stated above.

I dont have a window switch yet its on the way i was spraying about 3400.I guess when I get the window switch I will go 3000.

 

maybe that's why you are getting the 1.7 60fts. that's what mine are n/a. is your car spinning at all? cause mine dead hooks to a 1.68-1.70 EVERYTIME when i'm n/a. Just not enough mods/weight reduction to get any better. Are you using a push button right now along with a WOT switch? How are you activating the nitrous?

A button but the window switch will be here next week.I still should cut better 60fts n/a though.

 

i have a stock suspension 'cept for the LCA's and SFC's. my car weighs 3400 raceweight. the best i can muster on e.t. drags and it pulls the tire a couple inches is a 1.68 n/a. I don't know how to get it any better. SO I'm pretty much like you. Although your gears should help a bit. SO just as a reference point, that's all the 60ft. i'm getting so maybe that's all you can get too? Good Luck with the window switch, i hope it helps out

I went to the track today & I had my street tires up front &no short belts on a new set of 275/40/17 nitto dr n/a 60fts 1.68 I couldnt believe this 60fts better than ets.

 

my buddy's trans am went 1.55 on nittos, but usually goes 1.6x on his 16" e.t. streets . Weird huh? Any luck on the nitrous?
