You don't have enough timing pulled and that's too much bottle pressure. You're jetting is probably way too rich as well.

Usually the rule of thumb is 2 degreese of timing for every 50hp of nitrous so usually the starting point on a 150 shot is 6 degreese....How do you figure that is to much bottle pressure? 950-1000 psi is a good place to have your bottle pressure.

I've talked with some damn good tuners and they seem think everything is fine..
No knock
Air/Fuel looks decent...would like to see it say around 12.5 at the end but that's the bottle pressure falling off for ya.
I know of many guys running higher pressure.

1.) Can't go off of knock sensors
2.) If you didn't run so much bottle pressure you wouldn't experience as much drop in a/f.
3.) The dyno allows you to get away with more timing because of less load.

130 rwhp and 150rwtq isn't very great on that size shot.

We recommend bottle pressure between 950-1050. Anything higher and you will see phase change in the nitrous from a liquid to gas making the hit softer. Also most solenoids are only rated for 1100 psi. Most are not going to open past that PSI.

The best thing to do to see what you timing is at would be check the plugs. By the time knock sensor pick up anything you will toast a motor. You should read the timing mark on the plugs to make sure that you are in a good spot.

What spark plugs are you running???

Thank-you Neal. I always run 900-950 bp and jet my kit accordingly. Pressure never drops below 900 and fueling stays much more consistent.

What fuel are you running?

I'm running a 5.3 with a 200 shot, 24* of timing on E85 with 8 range plug gapped to .028. I get my bottle pressure to 950-1000 in the pits before a run depending if the track is busy or slow, basically trying to hit 950 at the time of the pass.

Edit: Although 24* seemed fine after the first 2 passes I made a third and found number 7 & 8 missing the strap.

If you want to run that much bottle pressure that's fine. I just prefer to run less so I don't get as much pressure drop. I would strongly suggest pulling some timing out and do a little plug reading.

We started out at 17 degrees and worked up, ran the pressure up alittle high chasing a 500 ftlbs dyno pull. a/f was alot more stable on the street pulls but still needs alittle tweaking. getting close enough to read plugs now, this aint my first rodeo lol
