I'm 90% sure that I'm going to be ordering a plate kit from Nitrous Outlet next month, thanks to Uncle Sam. Anyway, I thought it might be kind of cool to get a thread going like the sticky in the forced induction section. I'd like to see feedback mainly from guys still running the stock rotating assembly.
Something along the lines of size of shot, number of bottles you've put through it, dyno number, how long it lasted before blowing up, etc. I'm sure some of you have been through so many you quit counting, so a rough estimate would suffice.

Back in 2001/2002 - Bone Stock LS1 - 200+ Shot - No safety equipment, no fuel pump upgrade, and no tune - the car lasted about 6 months of constant spraying....I'm talking like 2-4 bottles a week through it racing Wed night/Friday night/Sat night/ and sometimes the occasional Sunday fun day.... Best was an 11.42@122

I can't tell you on my LS1 but I had 1996 fwd 3.1 liter v6 Olds Cutlass that I put roughly 75 bottles thru. It went thru 2 or 3 bottles a week. 1 bottle for the track and 1 bottle on the street sometimes 2. That motor has internals that are a whole lot weaker than an LS1 and it lasted all that time. I only took the kit off because I gave the car to my kid brother. That car is still rolling to this day over 200k miles on the odometer. The spray went on when I bought the car used at 65k miles and I took the kit off at 127k miles. I was the 3rd owner and my brother was the 4th. He sold it to one of our friends who in turn sold it a year later. Car still runs like a champ even though it used to be a junkie!

My old car was a cam only car with 145,000 miles and I sprayed it atleast once a week for over a year. When this car was just full exhaust I know for a fact I ran through 10 or more bottles. Never had a single issue.

Not sure how many bottles it went through but a 175 shot with a cam making 575rwhp. It lasted for a good 7 months and that was me racing it 2-3 times a week. I added nano the last two months and it made 602rwhp but it obviously didn't last long until it was time to build it.

Well I put the bottle on at 58k miles and sprayed a bottle a week for the longest time and then it was more like 1 a month until it gave up at 150k miles. Spraying a 150 wet shot.

My old 1997 C5 had 125 ZEX shot wet + 100 shot dry. With over 120,000 miles on completely stock motor used up hundreds of bottles over a period of a few years. Ran mid-low 10's with a stalled auto. Was one of the Kings Of The Street video cars (black)

2000 ls1 all stock 85K miles. no tune after remove smog and egr junk with my LT dual exhaust setup, 150 wet shot, no fuel upgrades, no idea what the afr was, went through atleast 10 bottles last spring/summer. only issues, 1 money for bottle filling, 2 the PO put a junk luk clutch and lightweight flywheel that did not agree with the juice
so great reason to upgrade to a monster which i did.
