Running the 78/36 because that is what plugs were saying it wanted. End of last year with that combo running 10.5s (1.60 sixty foot) at 13:1 a/f dropping to 12:5 at end of run. Timing mark on plug looked good and porcelain still looked a little rich. I was only pulling 11 degrees then. Pulled 12 in the colder weather and melted 3 plugs. Once I added 5 psi to dedicated plugs looked much better. One of the issues I was having last year is the inconsistency of the NANO and bottle pressure depending on the NANO bottle and the weather. I have now 2 NANO bottles that consistently give me 1020 psi and I can tune easier now. Definitely need to ice bottles in the summer - I put mine in the beer fridge!

If the change happened in the off season and you were having pressure issues. you could have also now injested a good bit more nitrous and the extra timming was not pulled. Another angle to look at. Did you ever track the weight change in bottles before the change in nano so you could compair consumption?

I don't have a before and after but I know with purge I use exactly 5.5 llbs of nitrous on the 2 x 10.50 runs. Interesting though that I previously was running 88 nitrous jet with 44 fuel pulling 12 to run 10.50s. Since leaning the fuel out on the 78 nitrous jet I am running the same times. Leaner is faster but it seems the tuning window is narrower. Picked up 4/10 with the new 3.73 gear and 28 inch tire n/a so cant wait to see the impact on nitrous runs!

The tune can't be wrong if its gaining mph and et. LOL our moving in the right direction. we have a 500 shot on a car @ 12.8-13.0 the entire run. Give her what she needs.

Unless the vehicle's fuel psi is setup to run at about 40 psi, that's pig rich on my car, and on alot of other cars as well.

^You mean higher? I think he mentioned he was at 50 psi.

Before my standalone, pulling fuel off the rail with a racetronix, I STILL had to drop a bunch of fuel jet sizes. Fuel psi was 50-52 at wot on the spray.
