Seeing all these NX kits makes me miss mine that I sold! I think it might be time to order an NX kit again.

EdLS1 Vert: Damn nice setup. So much for my ingenuity, I just ran my kit and of course I am not running the arming switch that came with it, so I ordered the ASR/Lights switches to convert. At least I know how it'll look tomorrow night when the switches come in. Nice job.

BTW, why did you go w/ the light switches instead of ASR? Here at the dealer (none available on island or within reach of phone or internet) the light switches are $40.00 and the ASR are only $23.00. Did you go new, and did you get pigtails with them or craft the connections yourself? TIA.

So you need to use the fog switch.

I went new and also bought the pigtails.
Fog switch for $21, ASR was $13, pigtails were $17 and $19 respectively all from a dealer.

From left to right they are:
fog lights; arming; bottle heater; purge.
Bottle opener is next to the Convertble Top switch.

Ed, again nice sano install. You can use the cheaper ASR switches (FWIW) using the pink 12v switched power input and the vlack ground with the purple&white being your 12v output only thing is the light will be off when armed/on. Did your dealer have the switches in stock? And can you shoot me his phone number? I get raped for 24 ASR and 40 Fogs and like 20 each pigtail, without shipping, sux living in paradise sometimes. Where did you relocate your ASR too? Is that the switch in the bottle opener kit, I am assuming an NX opener? Once again NFJ. TIA Charlie.

How can you use it for arming? I thought the electronics kept the circuit hot, not the switch.

Give Dal a call at 877.448.5451. Dal Slabough lockitup@bright.net
is a parts guy at Van Devere Olds, in Ohio. He sells GM parts for his cost plus 10%.

I don't have ASR. And yes that is my NX bottle opener switch.

Yeah the switch in itself is momentary for the intended purpose, BUT, There are the aforementioned wires you can use just as needed for arming/heating etc....a 12v switched (input), ground and a 12v output. One of the other wires is momentary. I tapped the ground to the console chassis, the switched is branched off from the foglights (high load capability) for the arming, and will use the 12v from the lighter (keep pressure up in between runs). Anyway, I am trying to get a package deal from a dealer for all the switches and pigtails to setup some friends rides. Thanks for the contact info.

Charlie.

BAD1LE, not trying to ***** your post, but my install is just like Ed's (minus I used ASR switches, cheaper in Hawaii) for activation. As for solenoids, I mounted mine to the one nut and stud on the right side of the ABS block, as seen in Ed's first pic it would be between pwr strng pump and ABS unit. Solenoids for now are mounted on individual brackets in the kit, but am looking for a oiece of SS, Alum, or Titanium to mount them all on. I covered all the lines with black loom and wires too, with the nozzle on the left side slightly behind the MAF. Looks pretty discrete other than the super flashy NX....solenoid stickers. sorry no pics available yet. Hits BEAUTIFUL, can't wait for new super sticky tires

Ed, Thanks again for that info and the help...

Charlie.
