Can you spray through the shifts on an A4!

Re: Can you spray through the shifts on an A4!
What is everyone setting their shift points and rev limiter at.
Right now with the HPP-3 I have 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 at +2 and the rev limiter at 6300, but this past weekend it hit the rev limiter from 2-3.
Should I raise it to 6400 or 6500?
Also how often to change you tran's fuild?
I just changed it for the first time at 12,200 miles it was a little dark, but didn't smell burn't?

I have mine set at 1-2 -2, 2-3 +1 rev limiter stock with a windows switch set at 5900.

Re: Can you spray through the shifts on an A4!
I found it to be the best setting when running n/a?
Plus I'm running street tires, so I can't really use the all the tq.

Re: Can you spray through the shifts on an A4!
If your worried about the best possible e.t., which most drag racers are, I would definitely spray through the shifts. If your worried about possibly breaking your 4l60e---don't worry, it IS going to happen sooner or later. Just upgrade to a built unit when it goes.

Re: Can you spray through the shifts on an A4!
As jimmyblue asked, shouldn't the shift points be adjusted downwards if hitting rev limiter?
I'm about to install NOS 5177 kit with time based progressive controller. The last thing I would want to do is hit the rev limiter (fuel cutoff?).
I have a TCI3000 Streetfighter and shift points raised +2 and rev limiter at 6500. Any suggestions.
Thanks.
