First time nitrous user. And I love it!
After fighting a bunch of stupid problems over the weekend I finally got to make a hit on the bottle yesterday and WOW! That sh*t is a blast.
I'm using a HSW Microedge and I gotta say what an awesome piece of equipment. I'm running a 100 wet shot and pulling 4*. I'm tempted to go bigger but am very nervous as to not damage anything. From all the research I've done if you take the right precautions and don't get greedy you'll be safe.
I used to be very anti spray but figured I'd give it a try and glad I did. So if anyone else is on the fence I'll say at least try it! Also sorry if this post is in thre wrong section.

i too recently discovered the joy of spray. and im spraying the 100 shot as well for now, and am tempted to bump to 150 soon. think il enjoy it rest of the season and upgrade fuel sytem over winter. it is a rush, i thought no way a engine cud change so drasticly, but when it hits, bam. any pics of ur setup? im always curious to see others, and not many posts lately detailing build pics

As long as your tune up is safe and your controlling the heat inside the cylinder by using the right plug heat range there is no reason you can't spray a 150.
People have done a lot more on the stock bottom end.
Just read your plugs and you'll fine, if you need help post a picture. I was told to work on getting the AFR right and the timing will sort of work itself out. It will present it'self pretty obviously weather you need to add some. Just remember you can always add a degree and make another pass than screw something up with a ***** to the wall tune up with to much fuel and timing.

NGK AFX, but don't rely solely on a wide band, use that to monitor things during the run maybe but not for your tuning needs. You need to check your plugs because a wideband is going to tell you nothing in the way of how each cylinder is doing. I know your only spraying 100 but best learn how to do it now than trying to learn when the margin of error is much smaller and the cost of getting it wrong is much higher.

Buy HP Tuners, read your plugs and put the 150 jets in and bust some ***. 100 is some weak sauce. Then work your way up and see what the car likes. If you're going to do drugs (nitrous), its always better to do more!

Missed this post, take out those TR6's and get NGK BF7EF should be part number 3346. You want a non projected tip plug. Go change them today and stop spraying on those TR6's.

lots of reasons really. Heat, easily damaged during detonation are a few. A closed gap TR6 on a stock compression and 100 shot would be acceptable IMO but any higher or larger and go to a colder non-projected plug. Just my .02

He is very politely telling you to scrap the tr6 plugs and go with a NON PROJECTED plug.
I was carrying the torch for the tr6 plugs for quite a while, and even got into heated arguments with atv racer and a few others.
I was wrong, and they were right.
I did not damage my engine, but I was lucky.
Play it safe dood.
