Default dumbass question...nitrous exhaust sound???

I am considering installing a 125-140 shot. This is a vortec headed 350, i run exhaust manifolds to sidepipes. When the nitrous hits is there a change in exhaust note???

my shot changed the whole sound of my car. sounded like it doubled in volume. and after racing my buddy first hit, he said "dude the gap in your front fender well was huge from pulling torque, and your car sounded completely different"

Hmmm mine doesn't sound any different per se on a 100 shot. I mean it might scream a bit louder a bitter sooner (because of the intant hp & tq hit) but the overall tone is the same

Biggest difference i've seen on the three vehicles I use it on, the car goes through the gears quicker and sounds more aggressive. On dad's 4.8 truck, it sounds much more like an LS car, corvette or camaro or something when it's on bottle, because it's going through the rev range so much faster. No volume change really though.

the sound coming out of mine is noticeably different. Being that the rpms are going up quite a bit faster than usual. .. GAWD I love it

My GTO is loud on the shot. A little 75 shot dumps in at 2800 rpm on a MSD controller. From a dig, the car is pretty resonable till I make sure I'm hooked up and drop my foot all the way to the floor.

The sound of the motor climbing higher in the RPM band faster than normal is mostly the sound change I hear as the gear change is completed faster.
