Default lnc 2000 mounting

Been looking for places to mount it. Didn't want to put it under the hood. Sorta stretched the wires out and think I could run it into the glove box on a C5. Just wondered if anyone has depinned one and done this?

That's probably where I'll end up putting it. Just had to ask.

I cut them spliced them back together with about 2' of wire. Put it inside in my glove box.

Im in the same boat on my C5, Im thinking it might fit under the footwell area and MAYBE the connectors will fit through the grommet.

I did find this, last post says could make noise. Just going to mount it around fuse box and be done with it.

Think they have to say things like that. You can get noise from anything in the car. I personalty haven't had an issue. Also regarding the splicing of the wires as long as its done correct its not going to cause squat for resistance. Now do it wrong or cheaply ya sure it could. As for now mine works great and is located inside the glove box. But dont get me wrong it was a pain in the *** splicing everything but I am an Electrician so I have all the proper tools.

i did the passenger shock tower as well, never had any noise interference. i did buy msd wires at the suggestion of lingenfelter to avoid rfi interference.
