Default LS3 block. How much N20

Some of you will have seen this in YB. I thought I would post it here also. Looking for input from engine builders, or from people that have sprayed big shots. I know there are several people running this block in real street spraying 250 worth. I'm wondering if the block will take 400, without going through extreme machine work like an ERL block gets.
Thanks
Roger

It is possible to do it but you had better be damn accurate on the jet sizes. Are you wanting run a plate or go pro fogger? For that HP level it would be more accurate to just go pro fogger. You are also talking running plugs that are 8 steps colder than stock for this much nitrous. I don't have a clue what that plug number would be either. But surely it can be found somewhere online.

When it comes to the fuel side, a dedicated pump is pretty much a must have, and the nitrous feed side can not be less than -6AN for the feed. You will need a good Y adapter to feed both nitrous solenoids as close to evenly as possible.

When you plan to make your first full good pass, use a full bottle that is around 1000 psi. Just under is ideal, usually 950. Much higher than that and you risk locking a solenoid up. After your pass, close the bottle as soon as possible. When you get back into the pits, pull the bottle out and weigh it. If you use more than 4 pounds of nitrous on a single pass, buy a couple extra bottles, or buy 2 15 pounders. They are actually easy to come by for $100-150 each for used ones.

Oh, I forgot one little thing, if you have a nitrous backfire at that level of nitrous, you will have a BOMB for an intake assembly. You better get a full face helmet like a simpson that has an impact resistant face shield.

Nice. How many passes have you sprayed 500 on? And are you spraying both kits from early in the pass?

No, with the dry kit we have backfired it a few times and it has never hurt anything other than the scoop that one time.

Car starts right back up and drives ... makes the plugs black but we changed them just about every pass anyways.
