Default Have direct port nitrous question?

For the fuel soilnoid can I run a line from the stock fuel rail to it and will that be enough for a DP system? I'm thinking about getting the TNT F4 kit and making a DP system, running about 150-200 shot. Will a stock bottom end hold this power? And I know I will have to up grade my fuel pump. But what other things do I need? thanks jordan

It's an issue with fuel pressure. DP setups are designed to run at low FP, not 58psi of a stock LS1 system.

Typically, DP setups run at 8-10 psi of FP.

So your saying I dont need a bigger fuel pump. And I should be good just to run it off the stock fuel rail and that will have enough PSI for the DP. If I want to run a 150 shot will that be a problem. Thanks

You will need to buy a low pressure pump and reg (Holley blue)or similiar 9-15 psi and regulate it to 10 psi, it's not made for high fuel pressure!!!

Low pressure pump, do you mean fuel pump or something else. Sorry I'm new to this stuff. Do I have to get some other tank and put it where my battary used to be. I really dont want to do that. Whats that for anyways? So a holly blue and reg down to 10 psi for a 150 shot.

I have the TNT Force 4 kit. TNT does not make a jetting combo smaller than 200hp for it. A 200hp shot will nuke you pistons and possibly worse; break a rod or crankshaft.

DP setups need volume, volume, volume. With the Force 4 kit, go with at least a 300 g/p pump at 19 psi.

Do NOT run a Fogger off the stock fuel rails. The stock pump will not support the volume needed. You will run lean and go :boom:

Since your only going with a 150 shot, keep it at a regular wet kit. Its a whole lot less trouble than a DP. Since your new to nitrous and all I wouldnt go any bigger than a 75 shot for the first time you hit it. Then from there work your way up to a 150. And with the wet kit, its a whole lot less plumbing

Ok I think I'm just going to go with the TNT F2 kit, and work from there. I just wanted something to blow the doors off the cars at the races. Thanks guys, you were a big help.
