Can I run more nitrous with a progressive controller? move up to 300 rwhp
Ive got a TNT F2 kit that i would love to run at 300-350 rwhp settings. But there is no easy way to activate that much nitrous without a dual stage setup.
Would a progressive controller be what im looking for? to launch on the 200 shot, and have it move up to 300-350 over 2-3 seconds time??? that should be much easier on the motor correct?
any drawbacks?? (ive got forged pistons, rods, stock crank, should live to 700-800 rwhp)

With that much nitrous it seems the concensus would be to go direct port.
I see it sais C4 LS1. Is this a swap?

How about this:
Go to a two stage setup. 150 dry off the line and 200 wet kicking in later. I would really worry about a nitrous backfire with a 200+ wet through the intake.

Hmmmm i had not considered the dry setup. And there would be not distibution problems with a dry shot.
So 150 dry and 200 wet???? hmmmm....That would be safer than a progressive setup it sounds to me. And the fuel system would have no problem with it. I like the progressive setup better though.
Ive talked to TNT Nitrous quite a bit and theyve had no problems with thier PowerRing F2 kit spraying 250 rwhp shots through the intake and picking up solid 250 rwhp #'s (which means its a 310 shot really). So id like to spray that or a little more. Ive got all the safety stuff, dedicated fuel system, timing retards etc for it.

C4vette, you will get multiple views on this and every site but the bottom line is this... how much money do you have in the bank? becasue you WILL blow your car up with that setup.. its just a matter of time. i am not beign negative just honest. when you get over 175 hp levels things change with NOS real quick on setups.. will it work? sure!! the key is will it LAST?? i have sprayed for years and have had all different systems.. basically they are all the same.. just different ideas on the dleivery method nad nozzle placement. when sprayign the level you want to sure yo ucan pill it and go but liek most people i would think you want to drive it home to? look at a direct port kit.. this will net you the results you want with the longevity i am sure you also want.. use the power ring for a first stage or a street stage.. then use a DP for the big stage or track shot. you WILL need colder plugs with a tighter gap .035- .040, GOOD fuel is recommended at least 114, 10-12 deg of retard will also be required.. good luck i hope whatever direction you go works out!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
