NOS Bottle Warmer Install Q

Just a quick question here guys...
I have the wiring schematic, so that's not a problem. There is one wire from the toggle switch to a ground, one to the relay, and one to an "ignition switched 12volts". That ignition switched 12v part is what I'm not sure about. Obviously that's the power lead. I'm somewhat confused because the relay already has a power line running to the battery (or where ever). Where should I run that ignition switched 12v line to? I'm thinking the alternate power source on the driver's side of the engine bay.
Thanks!
Dan

The 12v wire needs to be hooked up. It is what provides power to switch the relay. The ground is what allows the light to light up. Any 12v source will do. But if you hook it up to a constant 12v then it can stay on even when the car is off which can lead to a dead battery. Which is never fun.

Ok, so then I need to hook it up to a 12v source that is ignition switched. Now it makes more sense. I still don't know where to hook into though. Any suggestions?

I hooked mine up to the fuse box at the radio fuse. that way I can turn the ignition switch on and back off with the window down and the heater will stay on for ten minutes and shut off as long as you don't open door. Great for the between round bottle warm up.

Did you tap into the fuse box from behind or did you plug the fuse over your 12v line? I'd like to splice into the radio fuse from behind. I could use any advice or help you can give.

I see you completed your install. I just used a fuse tap that plugs in with the fuse and hooked the power wire to it. Been at the race track all weekend sorry I didn't post early.
