Plugs from 350 shot on N.O. Plate
Interested in feedback on these plugs. First picture is .099 and .042 with 10 degrees timing. Ran 10.2 @ 134.39 with 1.48 - 60 ft. Second plug - same jets with 11 degrees timing. Ran a 10.2 @ 134.77 with a 1.511 - 60 ft. I don't feel like I'm making the power I should on these big jets - top end feels lazy picking up 28 mph from 1/8 to 1/4. Any suggestions on where to go from here? Add fuel? Add Timing? Both?

Mine went 10.28 at 129 with a 1.46 on 200, back halfed 23 mph. Seems to me you are spinning somewhere during the middle of the run. However, you have enough mph to go 9s. Was this progressed? What are you NA times and mph?
Here is mine, almost identical except passed the 1/8 you are losing if it's on 350. Just out of curiosity what solenoids are you using. Is the solenoid capable of flowing 350?

That thing should be making a much more steam than that with that much jet. My car is similar weight with a SBE 6 liter and on an 81n jet tune it ran 10.04:
I have not run a jet as large as yours, but I pulled 7 degrees for 20 degrees total with the 81n jet tune. In my opinion, the plug looks pretty good. There is a light fuel ring. It could perhaps be a bit leaner. The electrode appears to have the heat in the right area. Was that a 1-run-and-shut-it-down plug?

I thought the plugs looked good as well. Plugs were fresh, shut down at the 1\4 mile marker and pulled on the return road. The car has run a best of 11.39 @ 118 mph n/a. I made 3 runs on the .099 jets and used 13 llbs of nitrous including purge and clearing the lines at shut-down. I'll see what N.O. says about the solenoids but that seems like a lot of nitrous flowing! Transmission and torque converter were refreshed late last year. Thanks for the replies guys!

I'd love to see a data log of these runs....
My first thought is the nano can't push enough for 350 and you're losing too much bottle pressure on the top end. Might be why the fuel looks slightly darker in 2nd pic.
The timing mark looks good, if you can add 0.5 degrees at a time until the car stops going faster or heat looks too hot.
Also be careful only pulling 1 plug. Really need to look at all 8. Especially with a plate.
Good luck - it is really hard to tune with out good data.

I think you're maxed out, or there's a restriction somewhere on your system, because it didn't pick up nothing (1/8 nor 1/4 mi mph).
What size is your main feed line? Line from noid to plate? Noid orifice size like mentioned earlier?
Solenoid and/or nitrous filter (if you have one) could be clogged.

Questions answered guys!
6AN Main Feed line is 11 feet long to a tee (pic below) with 2 X 3 1/2 feet lines to the 2 X 10 llb. trunk mounted bottles each supplied by a 3000 PSI NANO Bottle. 6 AN main line to filter. 6 inch 4 AN line to the Solenoids. 4AN line from solenoids to the plate. Filter had sticky debris covering top quarter although still 3/4 of the filter below was clean. Solenoids as pictured from Nitrous Outlet were both replaced within last 12 months. Plugs are from #5 cylinder. I have pulled lots of plugs and #5 is always the hot one. I figure, rather than put a colder plug in that hole, if I am tuning to that cylinder I am tuning on the conservative-safe side. Plugs are NGK R5671A-11s.
Do you guys think that filter could be the issue? Seems like a lot of filter was still left for the nitrous to pass through.

Sorry, edited my previous post. I meant to say 6AN line to the solenoid inlet, however when I just tool another look it is 6AN to the filter, 4AN from the filter to the solenoid! Good catch Brandon. I'll change that up and see what happens. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies....
It's always great to get the feedback from experienced guys! I doubt I would have ever noticed the 4an line from the filter to the solenoid unless it came up as a suggestion! Sometimes you can't see what you don't see! It will be interesting to see the results with the clean filter and 6an line. I'm going down to a 250 shot and working my way up again just to be safe. Follow-up question...
Just picking up on another post regarding running twin 10 pound bottles. Comment was run two feed lines with tee close to solenoids. My tee is at the trunk mounted bottles with single 6an line running to solenoids. At what jet size would this cause a restriction?
