347 n20 piston's. What's the best for 300 plus shot
Hi I am in the middle of picking pistons for my 347 ls6. What would be the best piston for me? I will be at 12.2.1 compression ETP 215 heads with a 50 and 55 deg 5 angle valve job. Super Vic with a direct port system wet 4150 t/b h beam rods stock crank. Car should rpm well n/a but I want a piston that can take the heat if I choose to step up to a 300plus shot. Thank you for your time

Any bigger named pistons like diamond or wiseco forged should b fine. Get a steel top ring and gap them according to nitrous recommended gap. I went with wiseco forged flat tops/steel ring and I would hit it with 300 all day long.

I'm a fan of diamond... Current pistons in my engine are coated top and skirt... I have a set of I coated spares.... I'll be tearing down at the end of the season (hopefully not sooner)
Just make sure you get the lowered top ring and the proper pin and alloy for heavy nitrous use
Also if you haven't gotten the progressive yet, strongly consider the lingenfelter NCC-002. By far the best controller out on the market

Ur crazy to say gld is worse than 41. I'd rather make passes on gravel before I'd go to 41.
Anyways u can't go wrong with either that have been mentioned. Like stated just make sure u get a steel top ring. Je is another one I would go with.
