Haha, it's all good Garrett. This one will work for what I need.

On another note what is everyone paying for nitrous? One guy quoted me $60 to fill my bottle but that seems high to me??

We charge 4.50/lb but it varies a little bit here and there.

Thanks,
Garrett

Found a guy today that is going to fill my bottle for $42.25. That's a little better.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/no...3nos/overview/

Will this work on a piranha nozzle? Remember this is a turbo engine with 3" tubing going into the tb. Think I need to get the nozzle as close to center of the pipe as possible? Or should I go to the hardware store and find something that will work? The threads on the piranha are 1/8" npt correct?

Don't have a tig welder that will weld aluminum so weld on bung is not an option (although I know that'd be the best route).

Yes you could definitely use that to mount it. The Pirahna is 1/16 npt, and the Shark is 1/8 npt. We try to mount a wet nozzle about 6-8" from the throttle body normally.

Garrett

The nos bung didn't work well out the box. Had to grind off a few threads. Opinions on how this will work?

You really need to have at least this much of the nozzle protruding. Either tap the pipe itself or keep on grinding! If you don't have it sticking out enough you could generate reversion and thats a no-no.

Thanks,
Garrett

So you don't think the nozzle protrudes through the pipe enough? I guess I could grind down the piece of brass inside the pipe to give it a little more clearance? I'm surprised you'll don't offer a bung for this nozzle. Don't think drilling and tapping for the nozzle is an option for me because I want a clean look and not have to worry with boost leaks. Maybe I should bench test it and make a video to post on here.

As long as the bathtub is flush or sticking past a little then you should be fine.

From the pic it looks like your very close to being good to go.

This is ideal....

I would go with the 15600. We also have the ML15600 which comes with a more entry level solenoid, but it will still work just fine. (Everything else is the same.)

Thanks,
Garrett

Here is a link to that dry system, let me know if you need forum pricing on these items.

Hi there . I've got the older style 350 and its carb'd. The thang is witb me that I bought the proton kit u are describing to this guy in the forum. Mine came with the bottle and the nx proton box w/the fuel+ nos housed inside the proton box and I have the fuel going in one side of the proton box and coming out of the proton box then horizontally to the fuel is the nos line that comes in the box and out the back of the box .. Ok.then On top of proton box in visible sight is where the purge solenoid is mounted . Here's the thing where I get lost , the fuel/nos lines come down and conjoin into one within the shark nozzle! Now I guess ...lol .what im saying is if I buy the carb plate kit from you what will I nedd to do in order to get this thing blasting on my set up ? I've got all my fittings, hoses, etc the bottle along with the pressure valve regulator . do u have a email or a phone because what I'm really needing is instructuons or a PDF of all the parts / pieces and the instruction diagram on what I need to do to mount this bad boy. . Yea, I forgot ..the guy I bought the kit from said I would need to get the purge button and also a a squirt button ..can I buy these along with that carb plate from you guys too ..? Man I look forward to hearing something from you and thanks very much for your time buddy.
