175 shot stock ls1
So im getting ready to spray. I have a nitrous outlet plate. Br7 plug. Progressive controller. And a racetronix 255 pump.
Is a 175 shot pretty safe? I will pull 6 degrees out of the timing as well. 91 octane off the rail.

I'm assuming you're using a 73N jet?
Check out the stock cube list in the sticky. Plenty of guys on a stock bottom end spraying that and then some.

If he's on a wet ket, injectors don't matter.

We have sprayed 200 on a stock LS1. Alot of it is in the tuneup, and if you do some reading around, you will see alot of other people have sprayed alot more than that.
Thanks,

No hotwire. Just the pump. And it hasn't been on the dyno yet. But a safe guess is about 340 at the wheels.

The 255 will be good to about 550rwhp give or take 10rwhp. I would start with the 150hp shot and see how the car reacts and then decide to go up form there if you wanted to be on the safe side.

Here is a economical hotwire setup that you can add if you wanted to take care of that just in case scenario.

I'm thinking of running a 150 shot on mine... but I'm around 450rwhp and have the 255 with the hotwire kit. Once I go with a forged motor, I'll probably look at 250 at least and will go with a dedicated fuel cell setup.
What's the 255 good to with the hotwire kit? Would a Boost-A-Pump help?

A hotwire kit will be cheaper and easier to install over a boot-a-pump.

i have no clue how my car is alive after reading this thread...
my car makes 400 threw a th400 (on a mustang dyno) and i sprayed an 83jet multiple times with a single walboro 255. from the sounds of this thread my motor should have grenaded the first pass..
