Default Quality lighted magnifier for reading spark plugs...

I've been looking around for a new one and can't seem to find one that is not cheap junk. inCompetent Cams has one, but to many rating built quality is cheap and I can't really find a lot of other options. I tried looking into medical Otoscope, but not sure how each one will work, plus many have a low multiplier (well the ones I could even find the rating). I don't mind spending money as long as it's a quality tool, but most I've found have such mixed ratings.

So, the cone helps spread that side light all around?

I use a lighted magnifier from a hydroponics grow store. I get them cheap and they work great. If you shop around online you can get anything from a cheap pos magnifier to seriously high quality ones.

This is a good one and it's not over priced like others.

Never thought of using my otoscope. Mine has variable 1.5-8x IIRC.

I couldn't find any reviews on that one but the picture made me think it was cheaply made. I might just order that since you says it's okay and it's cheap. Thanks.

Not sure there is anything like that around here but if I can see it before I buy it, great.

I hear ya there...

Mainly what your looking for is something that will do 10X magnification when looking for a plug reader plus a built in light is always nice too!

You can buy one at Walmart for about $25-30. Looks just like the one a doctor uses to look in your ears. Has several different cones with it. Runs off AA batteries. That is what I use.
