Timing and plug questions. Lnc-2000 mini set up
On motor it made 425.
I have a nitrous wet outlet 92 plate kit. .
On a 100 hit it made 530 whp.
I used the suggested plugs and gapped them to what nitrous out let calls for.
My nitrous tune...is my all motor tune.
Well. My friends have talked me into a 150+ shot (depending how my fuel looks like).
Well I do a lot of all motor pulls and rarely get up on the spray.
But I really liked the idea of the lingenfelter LCN-2000 so I can retard my timing. For various shots ( 100,125,150, 175 ) .
I've been on this tune now for two years and would like to go back to a solid motor tune and use the box where we see fit.
Any unforeseen problems?
I also Am going to put new plugs In it before it gets on the rollers. Again before I used what was recommended and gapped them accordingly. Should I consider a different gap since I want to bounce between shots.
Note:
I say now I want to bounce between 100 and 150. But I'm sure I'll probably just leave the 150's in.
Any thoughts.
As mentioned above, I would run the BR7 plug for anything 100-200hp worth of nitrous.
The lingenfelter box is handy to have because it lets you pull timing on the fly, and only when the nitrous system is armed. I would pull 2* per 50hp to start with and tune back into it.
Let me know if you come up with anymore questions!
Thanks,
Garrett
I see they come out the box at .032 I may just leave them alone.
Any problems with this for my all motor tune/pulls.
I will do about 90% all motor and about 10% on spray.
I also Run Sunoco 100 Octane & 91 Octane @ 50% mix. I use the Fast A/F Ratio Monitor with Dual Wide Band Oxygen sensors to Tune my Camaro.
Occassionaly Data Logging Full passes at the Drags to check my air / fuel Ratio.
I Run my A/F Ratio on the Rich side 12:1 with No problems.

If you come up with any other questions let us know!
