The Lingenfelter is really easy to install. It will plug in between the cars main coil pack connectors. The unit has one activation wire that will wire into the nitrous system to retard timing. The unit also has a two step that is optional. If you choose to use it there are several different ways it can be wired in. The Lingenfelter instructions are pretty detailed and easy to follow.

To retard timing the unit has a turn dial you will set for how many degrees of timing ou want retarded. It can pull up to 15 degrees of timing.

Another cool thing about the Lingenfelter is that you can wire it in with HP tuners or EFI live and verify that it is pulling timing.

We keep them in stock here at Nitrous Outlet.

No additional tuning required with a wet system setup. Should be able to run the same tune you are on now and pull a couple extra degrees of timing out with the Lingenfelter box. That's the cool thing about it is that it lets you pull timing on the fly, and it only pulls timing when the nitrous system is armed.

Thanks,
Garrett

Also depending on your current tune with the blower, you may not even need the Lingenfelter box for that small of a shot, most boosted tuners leave the timing on the safe side of things. A 50-75hp nitrous shot is relatively small, it will drop IAT's alot and really help to cool things off. I would get in touch with your tuner and see what he thinks.

Thanks,
Garrett

Being that you are boosted the 50-75 shot will net a higher gain that usual just due to cooling the air intake charge. You will also see a gain in Boost psi.

Who ever tuned your car will be able to give you a better answer to if timing needs pulled or not. Odds are you will need to.

If you are putting a wet system on the car you will dial in the airfuel by changing out fuel jets and use the lingenfelter to adjust the timing.

If you are looking at putting a dry system in the car you will need pcm tuning.
