I have a 66 nova should weigh in around 2300 with the ls6, motor is currently at the machine shop getting cleaned and honed. My wife surprises me tonight with a invoice from nitrous outlet, end up getting me a stinger plate system. Can't wait to see how it performs in such a light car

Thinking about putting a 5.3 in it until I get the money to finish the ls6 u guys think 5.80s are possible with a decent cam and a little spray. We got a 5.90 index this year that I'm trying to run

 

Car is full tube chassis with 456 gears probably either use th350 or glide

 

I say it is possible. Car is light enough.
