nos question

Default nos question

hi guys i have a put together nos system.old nos works solenoids and bottle probably 15yrs old bottle only goes to 900 psi of more pop off valve.and i have 1 nozzle sprayer in front of throttle body drilled in the cai pipe.it works ok for what it is it drops me 8 tenths on a 150nos and i have a stand alone.my question is could i benefit from buying a new up to date complete nos system with a plate behind the throttle body

Simply changing solenoids has to have a benefit after 15 yrs of use...

I can't imagine the seat isn't dimpled and impinging flow.

last time i ran it it was popping on the big end the bottle pressure was to low i think but whats a really good nos system plate for l92 intake

If you have a 15yr old solenoid I'd definitely suggest taking it apart to look over the piston. A heavily dimpled piston can restrict flow!

Nitrous technology has made some advancements in the last 15 years. I'm sure you'd see a good performance improvement by changing to a modern plate system. New technology has allowed for better distributing, higher flowing systems that are safer. It'd be worth it to look into a newer setup!
