first time results from track, now what ?
for me last night at track was really good. i went best on motor 11.81@116mph.previuosly 12.0@113. found out my gas pedal was bent and not getting WOT at carb. i set up the stinger plate for 100hp jetting and went 11.24@126mph. i was real happy, idk if thats good or bad. both on motor and nitrous 60' times suck i think @1.8secs. i have street radials so i spin bad and have to let off if i shock tires too bad.
i run a carbed 6.0/ls3 head engine, under 10:1CR. 4150 stinger plate. total timing is 35 and at big end of track my AFR is about 12.3. i did not get a chance to look at AFR with nitrous.
what do i tune first when at track next? timing or AFR. i pulled 4 degrees for nitrous. i set fuel pressure with flow tool. i don't really have the means to get towed at track to do proper plug reading. i would have to do that on the street.

with some better suspension work you have a mid 10.50- 10.70 car, That's where I would start. Just think if you could go 1.50 60' you would be somewhere around 10.80's maybe. It's hard sometimes testing nitrous when you have suspension that isn't optimal. Making changes and maybe slowing down due to spin is common and then thinking it was your tune or something. Those are awesome times for the car. Plugs are your most important tuning tool, learning how to correctly read them is the most important. 100 shot it's not so critical till you get in the upper hp range. Sounds like your on the correct path.

Those are some pretty stout results! Like the guys said above, you've got the mph to run some great times. When it comes to tuning, you typically want to tune the air/fuel ratio first and then start working on the timing. if you need anything, we're more than happy to help!
