Using nitrous on 1/2 mile-1.5 mile races
I'm running a 620hp 416 in a 2004 Z06 and needing about another 75 rwhp to hit 200mph in the 1.5 mile as well as being more competitive in the 1/2 mile roll races.
I don't need more then a 100 shot, want to keep it simple and safe, but I'm hearing conflicting info on 1/2-1.5 mile racing using nitrous.
Looking for more info before doing a kit. Sure don't want any issues with the engine, and also wondering if the availability of nitrous has improved? Thx!

I plan to hit 201+ MPH in 1 1/2 Mile NA with 690 FWHP
~ 600 RWHP NA in a 1999 C5 Coupe/Hatch (little better Aero
Then Z) 550 RWHP -575 RWHP With proper gearing matched
to Engine Power Curves, should achieve 200MPH+ in decent
Conditions (80* or less ambient, 10 MPH Headwind or less,
And decent DA) I actually have a Nitrous Outlet Dry System
Designed to Add 50-100-150 HP Max, Engine is not specifically
Designed for N2O (very light, thin rings .9mm,.9mm 1.5mm
With end gaps and placement set up for NA)
and running 5500-7500 RPM in 3rd, 4th, & 5th
For approximately ~4+6+8 seconds for each corresponding
Gear @ WOT the Tune needs to be Perfect!
Wondering about availability as well.
620 FWHP or 620RWHP?

Never ran a 1.5 mile but our nitrous car makes 600 rwhp NA and it we havent ran it NA in several years but I dont think it will run anywhere close to 200mph in a mile NA.

Depending on Aero, Chassis, Gearing, ~600 RWHP, in a C6 ~180-185,
C5~183-188, Last Generation RX7~186-191 in decent
Conditions (temp,DA,+- 5mph Head/Tail Wind) in a standing mile.
My Event & Goal is for 1.5 mile.

I should have stated, 520 rwhp. I think in optimal conditions with low da and very cool temps that another 75 rwhp would get me to 200mph in 1.5 mile run and it crappy conditions it would take another 125 rwhp.
So maybe a 100 rwhp shot with just ok conditions. Still wondering how to use the nitrous and set it up so there are no issues and just what items would be mandatory with a simple single nozzle kit? (Bottle heater, rpm switch, pressure switch, dual fuel pressure/nitrous pressure gauge, etc???)
