Default Frankenstiens Nitrous Monster

Big thanks goes out to Chuck at HPE for talking me into using this nitrous kit on my new FAST intake!!! It shipped yesterday, and I should have it in my hands tomarrow! I'm going with Aeromotive Fuel Rails, instead of the ones in the picture. Great price, and excellent customer service! Thanks Chuck

I'm not sure which car that exact setup is going into (the one in the picture) but the one I'm going to be installing will be sitting on an HPE Forged 408 Iron Stroker, backed by a TH400 w/transbrake and a big stall converter.
Coming to a dragstrip near you in 2005!!

As far as pricing, you will have to talk to Chuck or one of his associates.

Hey Ron, you're right, it looks similar to the one Sean did up at the Dallas store. We redid all the plumbing on it though. The bends just didn't look the way I wanted them to for the application. Plus stainless lines are much more attractive.

Not to knock it, it looks very nice, very very nice. But....Has there been any good development using the NXL stuff? I had a NXL kit when they first came out, not very satisfied with the performance of it. It looks nice, but there was the typical heistation and the punch didnt seem as hard using 180 jets to the old wet kit at 150.
I had stock fuel system other than a Walbro 340, and they didnt have a Fuel Accumulator out then.
I would love a system like that, but plumbed straight into the manifold using Shark Nozzles. Super Looking setup and hope with the right fuel components it will perform as good as it looks. Good luck.

I will be using the Speed Inc. fuel complete fuel system, including the sumped race tank, and A1000 Aeromotive pump.

I heard that the NXL had problems with draining the fuel rails, even after the addition of a fuel accumulator. With the full race fuel system, this should work quite well, as the fuel rail does NOT supply the extra fuel for the nitrous/gasoline mix. I'm hoping this nitrous kit will be the best of both worlds....NXL technology, and old school direct port. I just got the kit yesterday afternoon, and it is not for the timid or novice builder. I will be getting some help from a direct port guru here in town for getting the lines bent, and everything plumbed.

Peace.

The NXL is a direct port basically. Direct ports never hit as hard as a single nozzle or plate kit. But they are a lot better tuning wise. Plate kits and single nozzles do not evenly distribute to all the cylinders.
