Put in at staging lanes made a hit and cutoff at the stripe

Maybe pull all 8 plugs and number each one with the cylinder it came from?
What was the shot size?
What timing?
Was this an 1/8th mile or a 1/4?

Danny's right. We need more info. Add type of fuel to that list as well. Is it just the lighting or does that have oil on it?

100 octane fuel. 1/8 mile hit and it did have some oil on the threads

Dont worry so much about getting the "perfect" plug.

One of the biggest misconceptions is the heat mark being on the bend - I've seen engines that are over timed before the bend. Best way to tune is to look at your MPH at the track. Pull a degree, if it slows down, add it back +half a degree... once you no longer see an increase in MPH take it back down. just go slow with 0.5 degrees at a time.
