Okay guys, we have fixed the lean/rich problem on more than just the NX system everyone is talking about. This is how it is done. The fuel pressure drops when most ls1 go to wide open and thats what causes the lean condition. We use an Accumulator in the engine compartment and set it at 55psi. anytime the fuel pressure drops the accumulator forces its fuel reserve into the fuel system. Its a very simpe fix and has proven to work perfectly if installed correctly. Just thought it might help to here how we have fixed it in the past when a customer comes in with a NXL system.

mike, please stop posting in this thread, get back on track

anyway,
Dave - thanks for the update :-)
Now, the only issues remaining are the rich lean conditions and low HP issues, which I am sure are related.
One thing I would like to ask is, what about the extra $150 bucks that I (and others) had to spend to replace the defective lines
I even ordered two extra ones from you cause they broke so easy - will NX refund us when the "new" lines come out?
Again, thanks for staying on top of this and updating frequently!!!

MEANWS6.
Im not real sure exactly what NX is putting together on this.I do know according to ricky is that he will be posting himself the results and what they are going to do about this as soon as all testing is finished.I beleave Ricky wants to do it all at once and get this problem taking care off so that they can focus on finishing some of the other new products coming out.

I hope they test this time on some fairly modded cars so that they get a full gamut of results on how this system could perform on stock to not so stock vehicles. It will be sweet once we can actually buy jets up to the 300 shot and know that's what it will put at the tires.

Just out of curiosity, are any of the members who are having lean spike problems running a return line fuel system with a pressure regulator Just before the NXL rails? (NO regulator at rear of car)

Probably not, but the accumulator has fixed the "lean spike." The problems people are having is not a spike, but rather a constant lean or rich condition throughout.

JF WS6, thanks for the reply. The reason I asked this question is that I'm reasonably sure that there must be a fair number of '97/'98 corvettes (with return line fuel systems) that have the NXL system installed. If none of these installs are having a leanout conditon, this could be an indicator of a fuel delivery problem external to the NXL kit. In reading all of the posts, there seemed to be more problems with leanouts than running rich. (just my impression)

Also, a thought regarding the solenoid blockage problem. In reading the descriptions of the method used to test fuel flow thru the solenoids (turn key on with NXL fuel lines unhooked from rail) I was wondering if everyone who did this was aware that when the ignition key is turned to the on position the fuel pump will only run for 2 seconds and then shut off (I.E. diminishing fuel flow from NXL fuel lines) if no RPM signal is received by the PCM. (please forgive me if I am pointing out what everybody already knows)

Thanks for bearing with me while I think out loud.

Nitro Dave's or Nitrous Express, its been about 4 weeks would you happen to have an update.
I need to know whether or not to rip this kit off my car or keep it.

This is very frustrating. I am hoping NX steps up and does the right thing with these kits and their soledoids and the jetting for them. I love the kit but it has been a major hassle and no results.

Plus a jet change is 16 jets instead of 2 and I am getting no where near the performance gains I should be getting.

Well Dave I kept it and it looks like now I have a $1100 paper weight because I dont trust it to run it on my car.

Very disappointing what NX published.
