Default A4 with Nitrous

Hello-

I am thinking about getting nitrous installed on my A4. I was wondering if any one has it installed on there car and if they ever had any problems with it. If you can tell me what i need to buy for it. i am getting a stall next month the i already have the gas to install.

Thanks
Al

Well you came to the right forum i think everybody in here pretty much has nitrous on their car. Ask nitro Dave i've read a lot in here and he seems to be the guy to talk to (I used the search button). How much do you wanna spend? That'll pretty much judge on what you can get. Good luck

It can be just get an MSD window switch and set it to come on at about 3200 and stop about 250 rpms before it shifts. Im not positive on where to set it based on your mods if you have any so im sure somebody else will chime in.

I have a NX wet kit 150 shot on my A4 but my tranny is not stock. I busted the tranny with just a baby cam. Some people have run H/C set ups on a stock tranny and are still going strong. Some people throw headers on and the tranny blows.

There is no "safe" mod when it comes to the transmissions and rear ends of F-bodies.

Yes that is right, I ran mine through the shifts for 1.5 years now at 150 dry level, (60 passes or so). No apparent problems, however TM is still on and i've had a Cooler on it since the first week igot it (was my 1st mod)
