Default 100 shot=what et?

Going to the track next weekend. Any predictions of what I might run on the 100 shot (5177kit)?

My best time on a 100 shot bone stock was 12.4 at 114 mph at orlando spinworld

The 5177 100 shot is really about 70hp to the wheels.

so 12.0 sounds close all depends on the 60'

I read along with your dilema with the 8.8. I'm glad you finally got it. I won't be buying one after what you guys had to go through. Out of curiousity, how is the quality and fit?
Have you even launched on it yet? That 2.05 60ft. looks like street tires with stock gearing. You should be putting down 1.8's easy off the bottle with slicks.
With 4.10's you might be spinning a little, but you should still be able to get that 60ft. down to a 1.7 spraying.
With another 2.0 60ft., I say 12.2 @ 119mph.
With a 1.7 60ft., 11.8 @120.

Yeah, the tracks around where I'm from don't prep much and it's rare to be there on a day that the track is actually hooking. I've seen people on ET streets cut 2.0s spinning. It's a bitch out here. The east coast is a different story, but i'm sure the grass is always greener on the other side. Will see what I can do on the 60'. The 8.8 is holding up well, don't even notice a difference in the car at all, the posi will grip real hard arond really tight corners. I can feel the wheels try to break traction just crawling around a tight uphill left near my house. I want to try out the new MT drag radials and see how I do on those. Thanks for reading the 8.8 posts hope it's a lesson for everyone from my mistake. This is exactly why there are sponsers and why they pay the money to be part of this site. When I ordered the 8.8 I would have never thought that I would be in such an ordeal, but i found myself in it. Don't get me wrong the axle is great, but the oredeal I had to go through to get it makes it less so.

12.0 -12.4 will be my guess. Traction will be a key factor there. As stated that 100 dry shot will only net you a 70 rwhp or so gain...

Well I want 11s so I got the .042 jets, that's around 140 shot. if im correct. That should get me to the 11s. Went out did a couple of 100 shot runs on a back road and I like the way it hits, but it desn't feel enough to go 11s. With the 140 shot I should be there, what do you think?
