Default 7.40s in A4 100 shot?

My friends car runs 7.46@ 96MPH in the 1/8 the only mods he has is Slp lid K&N filter 100 dry shot comp T/A drags 255s SS3400 stall and a flowmaster. WTF? I put the jets in for him because I didnt belive him then there he went. Is it a cam ? he has 3.23 gear so I don't know This isn't a stock car is it. I have heads and cam to get there. Help me out guys I think I'm getting B.S.

I think it's BS, I don't think he could get that MPH out of a 100 shot with stock exhaust manifolds, or even with headers and his mods. Last week my stock internal car with a 150 shot was consistantly running 7.40s@97mph with open headers, when I put my true duals back on I lost 3-4mph. I do have a 2.73 rear though and my 60' times aren't anything great.

1.55 60' with a 7.4 in the 1/8 would put him below 11.5 or so in the 1/4. I think it's safe to call BS.

A friend of mine has run with his Firehawk 11.7s with 1.5x 60fts with just a 100 shot, a Vig 3600 stall, some weight reduction, and slicks

Still kinda suprised, but I saw it with my own eyes.....Unless he had bigger jets, but the most it could have been is a 150 because is was a 5177 kit

I believe it.
I went 7.9 on a 125shot/lid/cutout.

he has a stall, so a 7.4 should be NO problem!

I believe it, here is a timeslip of my car when it was stock except for headers, stall converter, and 100 wet shot

7.36 @ 93.6

Friend of mine with same setup with stock stall and 150 shot would run 123 traps

I run a 7.60@90 w/1.69 60' on a 75 shot with a f'ed-up posi. I'm sure I could run a 7.40 on a 100 shot.

It is WITHOUT A DOUBT possible...

I went 7.70 @ 95 with a 100 shot on a stock manifold, stock converter car on street tires

7.3x is EASILY believable with a stall.

I am with you, I went a 7.63 @ 93.09 with stock manifolds and stock torque converter on DR's 245 nittos. Our car was extremely light though. I think it is possible!

I think it is possible. I went 7.35@94 with a stall, headers, and cam and other basic bolt-ons.

The ET is very possible...but It's the MPH that getting me......my car with longtubes, lid, ASP pulley, converter, and lots of suspension went 6.80 @ 98 w/ a 1.42 60' with a race weight of 3400lbs....with a 100 sry shot

The car made 406 at the wheels
