Default where to put a bottle pressure guage.

Well currently I dont have a bottle pressure guage. I know that I need one, but dont know where to put it. For referance, my bottle is in the spare tire well, so it is really out of reach and sight. So can I get some ideas, and maybe some part referances on where to put this, and how to do it.

i'd say right before the noid so you can get the most accurate pressure before it's used.

Is there a way to hook it up before the sylonoid, but actually have the guage so I can see it while driving?

You can get remote mount gauges. Mechanical ones are pretty cheap but the electrical ones are $250+. Here's a pic of mine.

Here's a pic of seinding unit right after the filter.

Thanks, that is exactly what I am looking for. Probably going to mount it on a 2 guage piller. Where can I pick one of these up? What brands make these...autometer, etc.? I will also have a fuel pressure guage on the piller too, but want both the guages to look alike. Again, Thanks

Where did you get that plastic to fit in the air vent?

Fry, Autometer makes them in most of their series so you should be able to find a fuel pressure gauge and nitrous gauge that you like. Check out the listings at Summit or Jeg's, they pretty much list every gauge Autometer sells. Also, of you get a mechanical nitrous or FP gauge you will actually have to run some 4AN line from the adapter/manifold to the gauge and it's kind of a pain. If you have the money just get the electrical for both the FP & N20, it's a simple install and all you will have to buy is the manifold with the NPT tap in the side (you'll need one for the FP gauge too, -4AN if you pull off the end of the rail).

2MuchRiceMakesMeSick, it's actually a piece of metal I had lying around. I just trimmed it, filed it alittle and painted it sattin black. The fit was so tight that I just pressed it into the vent hole and it stays in there no problem.

Not to sound like an idiot, but....what? I will most likely go with electrical guages, as I trust those better than mechanical. So what I would need is the FP guage, NP guage, and what else. I am pretty much a moron when it comes to this stuff, I am just learning about all the extra stuff that you end up needing on top of a n20 kit.

Thanks

Asuming that your main nitrous feed line is -4AN too, you will need two of these(one for each gauge).

They are about $12 a piece from jegs P/N 555-41006. One is going to screw right on the end of the fuel rail for the FP gauge and the other some where in the nitrous line. Other than that, all you should need is alittle Teflon paste to put on the NPT threads (you don't want to use it on the AN fittings).

Thanks, keep your eyes peeled on Ebay for a deal on one. I got mine for $120 shipped and it was still new in the box.
