Default Anyone else done a purge like this before?

No pics yet.. I'm still working on bending the lines..

I have the NOS 5177 kit w/purge.

I'm planning to have a dual purge. The plan is to have the purges come from the inside corners of the headlights..

What do you guys think of this setup?

I still want a selective directional puge. That way I can point it at whomever I happen to line up against.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. But after I put my purge in the normal place, out of the cowl, I decided to leave it for a while. I am thinking if/when I move it, I am going to put the purges out of the opening between the front fenders and the mirrors! Angled out about 45*. I think that would be cool as hell.

It might look cool but it's going to be hard to see if you are actually purging or not. I used to have mine purge thru the nostril on my WS6 hood but it was to hard to see at night so now it comes out at the windshield just to the right of me.

you can purge into the motor with a wet as well during a burnout. my purge solenoid is burnt out right now. i have mine pointed upward so it's a little easier to see. but, when it shoots 5 feet out, not easy to miss.

If we did something like that, our hoods wouldn't be snarling anymore, we would be snorting!

I saw someone with a Trans Am purge through the ram air openings in the hood with red leds to light up the cloud. Looked very nice, especially at night.

it's just a matter of running a line off the purge solenoid. split it into two lines. then run to the side vents. there's a vid somewhere of a guy that did it to his C5.
