It sounds like a good idea for your business as well as a lot of customers. Like someone else said, you won't please everyone, but I'm sure as a business man, you know that already.

Great Idea! The only thing is that other retailers are going to copy this idea in a second and might even do so before you do. I know you have some loyal customers and for good reasons and you are the n20 king on the LS1 websites so it wouldnt matter if you had copiers! The percent of people that think this is a good idea so far is 100 so I would close this thread and get the mods to take it off! Good luck man! Your a pioneer!

Alright,It looks like we are going to do this...This weekend I will sit down and right base trade in pricing and guidlines for us to go buy to insure that we do not loose our buts on this.I have hurd nothing but positive things on this from everyone I have talk to..So why not try it.

Might work Dave. Just put those used kits on ebay and set the reserve prices for what you have into them.

I would also like to try this, I have a TNT F1 wet kit and a NOS 5177 Dry kit and wanted to sell both of them and put the money toward a DP setup for my new motor, just didnt want the hassle and waste of time trying to sell them. And I would understand that I wouldnt get much for them, as long as its kinda fair it would be worth it too me. I wouldnt be against you using the parts from others "traded in" kits for you to build me a DP kit if it saved me some money. I wouldnt have a problem sending you all my stuff and letting you look at it and then getting back to me with an estimate either. I think you have come up with a great idea and will definately like to trade in my kits when you get this up and going.

Cool, maybe even have a "garage sale" section on the website for these trade-in kits.
I'd have to suggest, that you make sure not to recieve more trade-in's than you can sell. You'll be sitting on the missing capital until they're gone, but being a business man, you already know that

Now if you would go one step further, and do partial kits.
