Default help me hook up msd window switches wiring.

I just got a MSD Window switch from another member, and need some help wiring it up. I have a NX maf kit, wired into the nx switch panel. It has one relay for the sylonoids, and I have another relay for the switch to maintain voltage (that will be installed when I put on the msd). The switch didnt come with any instructions and I was wondering if anyone could give me the run-down of how to wire it up.

If you could please tell me where I need to splice into my current setup to get it working correctly, I would really appreciate it. But dont bother telling me wire colors, as my wiring has been reworked and most of the normal colors are not what they are suposed to be (tell me where the wires go that I need). Also it is my understanding that there may be another piece of equipment that I need with the switch to make it work on an ls1, am i correct? I just need a quick rundown.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Fry

I'll help where I can here.
4 wires.
Red - to 12V+ (switched)
White - to tach wire
Black - Ground
Yellow - from the ground of whatever you want switched.
A WORD OF WARNING: The MSD yellow wire is limited to 1.5 amp MAX, and might or might not work with the LS1/6 5v square wave signal. I had to send mine in to be adapted to work.

Anyway, you could probably hook the ground of your relay to the yellow wire, and that would make it work. Someone else chime in if you see a better way of doing it.

What needs to be adapted on it, and can it be done without sending it away? The guy I bought it from had it on a mustang, so it hasnt been used on an ls1.

So I need to hook the yellow to the ground of both the fuel and n20 noids, correct? and obviously black is the switches ground. So do I hook it into the noids relay?, and onto which pin? On their website, I just downloaded the instructions, it says the red connects to a switched 12 volt source. Does this mean it gets connected on the power wire between my arming switch and the the wot switch? Then we come to the white wire....I am going to need a little more information as to where this goes, I am clueless.

Thanks for the help

I took some pics of the instructions, I'll have them up as soon as I can get them uploaded...

Oops, bad typing on my part, I meant to say relay above. You DON'T want to hook the yellow wire to the ground of the solenoids. Too many amps passing thru the yellow wire then.

Luckily, I have a copy of wiring your instructions (just got a NX dual stage kit).
If you're running the FPSS off the white wire on your relay, hook the ground of the FPSS to the yellow wire.

Here's some pics of the MSD instructions.
Sorry about the large file size, but I figured you'd want them detailed enough to read.
Good luck

To get it to work with the LS1/LS6, you have to cut both the red and blue wires and make it think it's working with a 4 cylinder engine.
