Default washer fluid can it be used for fuel?

Well been thinking of going direct port and just wondering if anyone has used the washer resevoir as a fuel cell? I see were there could be a hazard for front end collisions but anyone see anything wrong with using this?

You just gave me an awesome idea for a purge system.. But I can't help you out with the fuel part.

I would probably use something a bit more solid as a fuel cell. I've seen a fair share of cars after front end collisions and half the time there is washer fluid scattered all over the ground. The washer fluid reservoir is designed for something inert like washer fluid. Maybe you could fabricate a stronger container to put in place of the reservoir to use as a fuel cell. Just my $0.02.

best way i've seen it done is using a battery relocation and putting a fuel cell where it used to be

I think over time it might eat a hole in that container also. I know if you leave gas in a 20oz bottle for a long period of time it will melt it. I would do like the above post say. Put it where the battery is.

best way to go. and when you fill it, put 110 or something in it so you get a slight octane boost when you spray

you can get a fuel cell from jegs for about $100.00. I wouldn't recommend you use the washer fluid resevoir.
