Nitrogen Push Guys, question for you

I got a 68ci 4500psi bottle on ebay with an adjustable regulator (from 200 to 1100psi) for $200. Now if the bottle won't work, hopefully I can take the regulator off of it and use it on a different bottle, but I don't think the neck size is the same as a nitrogen or nitrous bottle.

3 or 4 bucks for a fill, when I asked the paintball store about an air dryer, he said they use a scuba compressor that filters out all the impurities and most likely catches most of the moisture if there is any.
well...when you get your 68 ci bottle from ebay. Fill it to 4500 psi....hook it up to a nearly empty nitrous bottle...and let the pressure equalize slowly. See what the pressures equalize at.
the tank that i have is 80 dollars basicly, its 48ci 3000psi with a preset regulator. A fill is here in reno is 3 dollars a bottle with compressed air, my local welding shop only wants 20 dollars out the door for a 80cf nitrogen tank(already own tank from a air ride system on my old car) so i could fill my own bottles and save money especialy with a smaller tank. http://www.paintballfirst.com/item.a...4011&d=131&b=1
As for your setup 383LQ4SS do you run a check valve or ball valve off of the nitrous valve spare port? My setup was to come off the bottle valve spare port with a check valve to to protect the reg from over pressure and to seal the tank when filling and when the bottle is out of the car.

Anyone know how heat affects straight compressed air vs nitrogen? I can remember its a no-no to leave a scuba tank in a trunk or inside a car in very hot temps. It was my understanding (and I could be wrong) that nitrogen can handle heat better than straight compressed air...

Verdad Gallardo Also You can buy a remote for your paintball/nitro push setup for about 30 dollars, and it has the quick connect fitting to fill your nitrogen tank along with the adapter needed to screw to the top of the tank. Im going to set my budget around 175 bucks for all the parts needed to complete this test. i already have the bottle and remote, so there 110 gone and i have 65 left for fittings and such.
well my gauge doesnt lie its at 950, it also says on the page:

I think by that, they meant when shooting your gun from a full bottle to a not-so-full bottle you only lose 25-50psi of output pressure vs other paintball regulators. But that's good to know that yours is up to 950. 
oh yeah, opps well if i only lose 25-50psi that will be a crap load better than what i have now which is a bottle heater that struggles to give me 900 psi on a near full tank, instead i will have 950-900 psi at all times, and probally more consistent times too
Well I went to Hose and Fittings and 30 dollars later i had all the fitting i needed for the nirtogen push and the paintball tank filler. For the nitrous stuff I used standard 2000psi rated brass fittings and a 2000psi check valve, for the filler i used 5000psi steel fittings and a standard CG-580 nitrogen nipple. I also did some playing with my nitrous tank and found out that my 48ci 3000 psi paintball tank will fill a empty 10lb nitrous tank to 300psi when the pressure equals. When i opened both tanks my pressure was at a solid 925 at 50 degrees ambient vs 600psi with a fill nitrous tank. Also for the moment I am using compressed air with no negitive side affects. I do need to find a mounting bracket for the small bottle, I think one from a small fire extinguisher will work, but i need measurments to be sure.

Let us know how it works after you use some nitrous and when you stop getting full pressure, take your nitrous bottle out and weigh it so we know how much nitrous it was actually able to push.
I think that 48 ci one might be a lil small. But from what you say...maybe the 114 ci one Ihave seen will work. That would be sweet. Nice work man! Let us know how it turns out after some "testing" 
Oh...one more thing. Fill your small bottle to 3000 psi. Fill the nitrous bottle with 10 lbs...then fill the nitrous bottle to the desired pressure you want to run at with compressed air....THEN hook up the small bottle. It will last alot longer that way.
