U could buy a Ice Cooler and mount it in there, kinda of a sneaky way but if done right would look real clean

I've been thinking about the same thing and I really don't want it in the bed. My truck doesn't have the flip down console/jumper seat but I have been thinking about buying one. Then eliminating the bottom part of the seat and seeing if I can't some how stuff a 10lbs bottle under the console. I might have to cut the bottom of the console but I really have no use for it. Althought, it would kind of suck because then I have 2 vehicles that can only seat one other person (unless they don't mind sitting on the bottle).

you want to be really sneaky, see if you can come up with the front piece of the truck bed or fabricate your own(the one that faces the cab) and then bring it back about 10 inches and weld it. Then if you have Tonneuo*Spelling* cover on it you can put the bottle between the 2 and when people drop the tailgate and look they wont see anything.

I was going to mount my bottle inmy bed as well in my EC but I dont have a tonn cover so I mounted it under the back seat. What I was going to do is either get a fibergalss box made that was about half the height of the bed and color match it as well as locking it somehow. The other cheaper way I was going to do is get a small tool box like 3x2x2 or somehting like that were you could only see it if you looked into the bed. Good Luck!

You have a 454ss right?

Does yours have the center console? Mine doesn't and that's where I'm mounting mine.

Mine is behind my seat sideways(truck in sig). I didn't lose 1" of legroom either, and thats in a S-10. My seats have a perminate indent in the back from the downtube though.

Actually I dont have a truck yet. I am presently weighing the pros and cons of the 454SS vs 5.3L Silverado vs 80's SBC Pickup. Once I make up my mind I will have a truck with spray

Actually you gaave me an idea for a new thread in the trucks form...

That's a great idea. I might be able to mount it behind the passanger seat and it would still be easy to reach the valve from the drivers seat.

If someone really wanted to hide it, thats a badass way of doing it.
