Default spray at filter once mafless?

hey, i was wondering if you could punch a hole thru the air filter (like you can on a dry shot) and spray from there with a wet kit if you went mafless. i don't want ppl looking at the kit but want an extra "boost" when the going gets tough.

i'm ordering a wide band system and HPTuners here this winter so i will be going MAFless

any thoughts from the pros? don't want it to puddle but want to keep a wetkit hidden as best as possible.

wetkit is a must as i need a good N/A tune and my stock 02 injectors will be at there max (242/248 .610/.615 cam on a 111 lsa and a set of hoome ported heads milled .030) the pistons are flycut .100 but many ppl have told me the rings will still go long before and it will be a very safe tune, only spinning to 6900 on spray.

6900 is pretty high to spin a motor on the spray. You'll get away with it for a while, but after that, you are on borrowed time.

As far as spraying through your filter like that, that's not a good idea either. these nozzles are designed for a certain spray pattern, with the nozzle in your air box the spray pattern it going to really expand then have to bottleneck back down to go through the bellow's & TB. That's gonna give you a bad distribution problem. I predict meltdown on some of the back cylinders.

I run a single nozzle into the bottom right side of my bellows, I have a smooth bellow's. My noids are bolted to my fan shroud under the radiator hose & hidden beneath some black wire tubing. I have all of my nitrous lines run through the same black convoluted tubing & I cover the blue nozzle with electrical tape to make it match the black of the tubing & the black of the smooth bellow's. It's pretty stealth for a wet kit.

That's your big problem now. You would have to do a standalone fuel cell pump, but now how u gonna hide that. If you kept your MAF you could run a dry shot to hide it real easy. Does HP Tnrs have some kinda input to swith over to a different fue/timming map once your N2O is activated? Then a dry would work with it.
