Default Dry on M6/cam only/ without bigger injectors?

Iam running a 224/224 cam with longtubes and was wondering if I could run a 75 dry shot with out getting bigger injectors. My car is a 01 with the 28lb injectors. I have a 255lph fuel pump but I have not installed it yet. The car put down 372rwhp/365rwtq SAE. Iam running consistant 12.1's at 117-118mph and just want to run as close to 11.5's (no cage needed) consistantly. The dry systems looks easier to hide.

I ran a 125 shot on the stock cam so...

I would say yes

I would still invest in a logger to check the injector duty cycle

I think 450 rwhp total would be ok. Maybe even a tad more.

i was gonna say the same thing actually...450 and you should still be ok, but that's pushing it with the stock injectors.

So Iam thinking a 75shot would equal to 50rwhp so that total to 422rwhp with a 26rwhp margin for error. Is that sounding about right to yall.

Thanks to Nitro Dave for clearing my question up. He said they have run a car with the same setup as mine and the injectors were fine. That was using his Halo kit which is adjustable from 40-60-80hp rwhp gains.

That would put me at: 410rwhp with the 40shot
430rwhp with the 60shot
450rwhp with the 80shot

Hopefully that info will help some others out......I plan on running this kit in the near future and will update you all with the results.

Exactly. My tuner recommended that I get bigger injectors as well. So I got the 37lb racetronics. Even if it would have squeezed by with the stockers, I knew when I upgraded the cam from the 225 to the MS3 I have picked out it would probably be maxing them out for sure. It gives you room to GROW with future mods. Good luck!
