Default Start a 2005 Nitrous List or delete/update one?

You tell me what you'd like to do. I can put it together like the one now, change it using cut-n-paste from a spreadsheet or whatever. Got to make it quick though. Its the new year already and some will be cracking to get those new times posted.

I think so many people have changed their set ups this past year alot of the times on the list are probrably not updated or in some cases the cars aren't even nitrous cars any more. Although, it would be alot of work to start a new one, so maybe it's just as well to keep updating the current one.

BTW: Would the list comprise of '05 runs only, or just from when ever?

I like the format that FI is using
also think you should have to post slips like the 10 second club does
IMHO

I think you should start a completely new 2005 one.

Here's a little thing I'd personally like to see.

I'd like to see lists of stock internal cars, and cam only cars seperated from the rest. probably would be just copy/pasting...and its just my 2 cents anyway...LOL

I agree about the posting the slips... way to easy to say you are in a certain time.

But, unfortunately.. I cant post them since I dont have a scanner.

Me personally I am not worried whethter someone lacks the integrity to be honest about their times or setups. Went the last year plus without any issues with it, but thats just me!
I could set up a division, classified by cam only, HC, CI but thats why that info was included in the last list.

And It would be for runs in 05 only! Hell I cant even run my car til probably April when I get back from Afghanistan, but I am game.

Anyone else????

I see what you mean about nobody running for the first quarter. Maybe we could just add the date the run was made as a new field. People could add it for old times if they want. I like the way you have the SI, H/C etc

Keep the format like it is. The setups are identified for those curious and this list is THE fastest nitrous cars, period.

Maybe you could carry over the current list and set a time limit for the users to identify if the car is still running. If they don't respond, they drop off the list. That will help to clean up the list and not have it empty until the winter states start running again.

I like the present list. Going fast is the name of game. This is the FASTEST list. Not a "what did you run this year" list. Maybe - just for reference sake -add the date of the run.

CAT3 I really appreciate your time and effort in keeping this uptodate. I only would suggest after a "period of time" that you delete all the posts except the list so it would make it easier for you up date the list - i.e. "next" most recent run is still not listed

Thanks again for all your time on this.

David

My opinion. keep the old list as a refrance, and start a new one for 05, i wont have anytimes on it till april, but it dosnt matter to me.
time slips posted are no good for me, i have no scanner ect, but im sure i could get someone to post them for me when the time comes.
alot of people on the list have all new setups, no loger N2O, or changed setups compleatly, but i say keep the old one on the side for bragging rights of who "was" fastest ect.

I'd like people to have to post slips or videos to get on the list.

You're a trusting soul

I would have no problem with reputable members backing up another members claims as proof.

well, thats what i mean, you get some guys with 1,000+ posts and you know who and what they are, and they post a time, most likly they are not fibbing. get a guy with 5 posts and he says he went 9.5 with a bla bla bla, chances are you need proof from him.
make since? i am pretty trusting to, thats why im owed about 2K bucks from parts ive sold. DOH, im such a ****!
eitherway, with a new list i think it will be nice.

Could you recommend a NOS cam for my '99 SS LS1 street car, w/T56 and 4.11 r/p and 150 wet shot? There are no other mods to the engine and it must pass emissions.
