picking up my wet kit tomorrow....
I will be picking up my tnt wet kit tomorrow along with a purge and bottle warmer ( i wont do the remote opener just cause if i have to get out and open the bottle it will help me be a little more responsible in the long run, not that i need it, but just for insurance that ill behave )
my 98 z is now cammed and i will be getting it tuned up in january, but before that i have some more parts to finish out the n2o kit.
First and foremost my stock clutch isn't going to handle this so i need a clutch, what are you guys using?
Also, the fuel pump has me confused. Some guys are talking intank and inline...do i need to replace both and would a 255 lph fuel pump do the trick for a 100 shot on top of the cam?
And last but not least, i rarely go to the track. only been once and haev no real plans to go in the spring either. I need some tires for the chrome wheels. what are you guys using on the street (not that anyone sprays while on public roads of course ) ?
My car has about 62k miles on it now is there anything else i should look into? as for the rear end, i have a fund started to save up for a ford 9 inch which should go in sometime in june, hopefully sooner.
Thanks for any help

Yep, you can't go wrong with the TNT set up. I would do the fuel system right and install a Racetronix plug and play set up or atleast just a Walbro 255 with a hot wire kit. That will give you alittle room to play when you get bit by the bug and want to spray alittle more.

I am running a 255 in tank pump with H/C and spraying 150 shot.the inline will work as well. you should get a window switch for sure.the fuel pressure saftey switch is up to you.As far as your clutch goes it will hold it unless it is already on the way out.mine is holding on the street fine.it has 33k on it.once I go to the track it will not hold so I have ordred a spec III.for tires I have nitto drs for track use.nothing as far as a street tire goes is going to hook very well so read and learn what most guys use.my setup put down 535 hp and 590 ftlb of torque.

i bought the kit off a very respectable guy locally, i think it has a fpss but if it doesnt i have one here, i also already have a window switch wiredinto the car (previous dry kit set up).
tony123blue, thanks for the input about the stock clutch. what year is yours?dont the 01 and 02's have a better clutch?
on a 100 shot im looking to put down just under 500 rwhp probably a tad over in torque from what i've been told...i may even go with the 75 shot till i get the hang of it again.
I just wanna make sure ihave all the parts i need so i can just install everything over a week and come that weekend be able to go for a nice spring time drive with the t-tops off. SO ihave plenty of time to get as much info as i need.
I wont ask about the spec 3 drivability cause im sure that is a topic beat to death and ill search that one. Thanks guys
