Default TNT Kit and Lid Fitment

I have a SLP Lid and fact. bellow.

I've done tons of searching and its seems its the WS6 owners who have the most fitments issues, due to the higher air box.

I'm now going to have to order another lid. I progressively trimmed the lid down and even now it barely fits. I had to move the sensor back too. You can see the hole where the sensor originally was.....

The next lid I think I will cut at an angle,

If there are any WS6 owners that have helpful info i'd greatly appreciate it.
If anyone with a WS6 has any advice please feel free to chime in.

well i've got another lid i'm gonna get for cheap, now i'm researching bellows. I hate to pay $50-$60 for a piece of rubber, but i dont think a Fernco from HomeDepot will have enough bend in it.

I dont like SLP's b/c its just a big bubble, but i have looked at MTI's and its got a nice angle to it.

I used a fernco hose and removed about 1.5" from the Lid- These pics aren't the best, but I'll be monkeying with it some today and I'll take a few better ones for you. I'd suggest using the fernco hoses because if you screw one up, it's not a lot of $$$ to throw in the trash.

Your install turned out pretty clean, I see that you had to twist the bracket 4 the pressure gauge, but am curious as to why you have the pressure gauge by the sol?? BTW Nice job on the intake!!

David, I had to twist the bracket because of the WOT switch/Linkage/Cable location, made more difficult by the BBK TB and spacer. The Pressure gauge there was to call bluff on the Bottle mounted gauge in the rear- We had a delivery problem we were chasing.

I haven't seen it, but good call putting it on there, because bending that little bracket for the WOT switch was a PITA.

I just remembered Jaypee, I have a spare black MTI Lid that I used on my F1 kit, already cut to fit. I'll take $45 for it if you're interested.
