Default DynoTune Nitrous Switch Center ? - UPDATE

I have one installed in my A-Pillar gauge pod. It works great (only used it twice) but the faceplate decal with all the lettering is cracked & peeling... not looking so good. Noticed it around X-mas and has just gotten worse over time. Haven’t even used it since last Nov. so it’s not like its getting a big work out.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or not. ??? Are there any suggestions on how to fix this short of buying a new one? Want my little car to look its best inside & out for a car show coming up in March. I have only had it about 4 1/2 months. It’s the black switch center if that makes a difference. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Can post pic after work if helps show what I'm trying to explain. Again, thanks for any & all help.

IIRC Dynotune is making the lens out of polycarbonate or lexan now to avoid those problems. You might want to get in touch with them and see about a trade-in or swap. Good luck.

sebastianlopezjr,
Yes, we have had that issue with a few customers. Typically the motorcycle and snowmobile guys with the guage exposed to the elements. As Cat3 mentioned we have a new material.

No need to buy a new one. Just email us at dynotunesales@aol.com and we will send a new faceplate out to you at no charge. If you need help making the swap you can always send it in to us but you should not have a problem. If you want to send it in, again it is no charge.

Hope this helps!

Yeah those guys at DynoTune are all about customer service. They replaced two of my gauges that had the plastic with the metal along with a few other things.

DynoTuneN2O - Email sent.

I think they make great products & have excellent service. Always have. This just goes to prove it to me more. They are a great bunch of people. I'll buy another one if I could, just cant at the moment, but definitely going to buy my new bottle heater & parts later on form them.

Thanks for all the help.

Follow up on the first post.

Finally had some time this evening after work to install the new face that DynoTune sent me. This new version is way better IMHO. A few pics below, sorry they are not better quality, got dark on me.
