ok, seen it now. sorry hadnt looked at their site in ages. Me personally, I dont think you will need that upgrade kit at all. No reason for it until you are running nitrous for a while, forged internals, ready drivetrain etc.. The basic NX wet kit will put more than enough power out to blow your bottom, trans and rear if not used right, tuned etc. The bottle heater, opener and a single purge are nice, but would also look into a blowoff valve and tube if you get teched at the track.
TR6 gapped at .038 is wide for 150, I would close them down to .034 min, and work from there. I normally run mine at .032, street or track using a 150-175 shot.
Have fun, be safe.

I own a 2002 SS and have run the nx wet system for 2 years. Long story but you should read and check your original plug gap for stock. When I put the 150 shot on my car I set the gap for the tr-6s to 38 and tested it ran fine till it warmed up had a miss that got worse and worse for 15 min. till I got home. let it cool off over night. Killed me to know what was wrong. Next morning checked the wires, all fine then tested it again, ran fine till it warmed up, then ran soo bad that when I got home I couldn't get it all the way up the ramps. Worried I messed something up, I called a friend that works for a big Chevy dealer for 20 years. He works on all the Eletronics for the dealer, many service awards. Told him what I did and what was happening and he asked why I didn't ust the original plugs (Champion plugs) I said that everybody I talked to said to use the tr-6s and gap @ 38. He checked the gap from the factory and said the factory has the champion plug set @ 60 and that my car has one of the most stout eletronic systems on the market. (I noticed the big gap difference from the 38 to the 60 and thought it was different, but!!!) He said to gap the Champion plugs from 45-50 and I should be just fine. Has worked just fine for 2 years now. He has a personal vett with the LS1 and runs in the low 10s he was right.
