I am looking into these kits because the prices seem very reasonable. But I did a search and no one seems to be running them.
I'm looking to go wet with my H/C/fully bolted on M6 (413 rwhp).
Any comments? I'm also looking into the Nitrous Outlet's Wet Kit at $499.

Their sales tactics are a little off from what I have seen but their products seem to be on par with the rest of the industry. I would look into buying a used kit though. A used NX or TNT can be had for farely cheap, plus I think Tbyrne usually has some good prices on NX. But if you do decide to go with Cold Fusion I dont think you will be dissappointed.

Thanks, I will take it into consideration. Used kits usually retain their reliability?
I'm a little apprehensive with going the used-route, being it is nitrous and all.

have not tried them, never will.
true, they are cheaper, but running cheap and spray should not be used in the same sentence
If you need something, will they stand behind you the way NXricky, Nitro Dave, Speed Inc will - prolly not. Do it right the first time!!! Go NX

Well the quality of any of the big names like nx is simply derived at through their marketing when you spend millions of dollars a year in marketing your product suffers and you better believe as a manufacturer that they will pinch pennies anywhere they can. I could carry anyone we ever we want to, I chose to carry a line that doesn't pinch pennies for quality or make the customer pay for rediculous advertising campaigns

I think what nitrous Direct was trying to say is that the bigger nitrous companies spend a lot of money of advertising and sponsorships to racers. That causes you to have higher prices. Nothing wrong with that business plan. However, Cold Fusion Nitrous would rather provide as good or better product and with a much lower overhead allows us to sell for a lower price. Just the facts. I like NOS, NX, TNT products and think that its great to be in the U.S.A. where people can choice to purchase from any one they want.

Mike,
I agree about the the overhead thing. But as far as the quality of Cold fusion being the same as or better than NX,Come on man.I agree its cheap. But thats what is.Cheap.I dont think your product is trash but its kinda of like buying plastic KMart shoes because thats all you can afford.Versus buying a pair of Doc martins that will last longer, look better, and protect your feet better. However The Kmart shoes will work but might leave the feet blistard in the end.
Ill tell you what Mike.I keep seeing where you try to compare your product next to the quality of name brand companies to build your product into something its not.
Lets do this..
You post a complete Build sheet of your system from the packaging to the fittings and Ill post the same on a NX system.
This will give you a fair shot at how to prove your system is better.
Are you up for it?
Dave

Yea, here we go again....I don't care who does what. ANy business will find a way that something wasn't their fault. I am so tired of being screwed over. AND I do all mine own work and only go to outside vendors for stuff I can't handle (hot tanking, boring, mounting wheels, etc.) I do all my own bead blast, powder coat, header coating AND wrenching. The day someone stands behind their product, peace in the world will be achieved. And it never will, just take a trip to Iraq...you'll see.
Just my .02!
