Default stock 10 bolt on the juice

I have a question for you M6 guys. How many of you have broken your stock 10 bolt while spraying nitrous. I'm a little worried that I will shatter my rear on my first pass at the track. I wont be spraying out the hole so I did opt for the BMN window switch with the first gear lock out. I hope it will help preserve my 10 bolt. Should I be worried?

don't worry, it won't blow up on your first run, it'll wait til your second. j/k

it's really just a thing of luck...it'll definately last longer if you don't launch it hard. mine has held up to the abuse of about 10 bottles so far with a 100 shot - no passes at the track tho

With drag radials or better and 100 shot on m6 w/ 3.42, it's only a matter of time. Not spraying 1st will help.

I have ran probably a good 3 yrs on my 10 bolt, but with auburn pro posi, richmond 4.10s, and moser axles... That is spraying it out of the hole with a 150 shot and drag radials... Until my last run of last season where i shredded 2 teeth off the pinion...

i have boke a few on street tires one had 8 teeth out of 12 gone off the pinion they were all 3.42's, this now is a 10 bolt with an auburn and 3.73 motives it has lasted over a year and a half, powershifting, with no trouble and some of that on et streets, i how ever dont think it will hold up very soon as i will be spraying a 200 shot thru it with a head and cam package, here comes the 9 in. good luck with your setup.

I ran 10.3 at 135 mph on the stock ten bolt with zexel posi and stock 3.42 gears dumping the clutch at 5500+ with 26x11.5x15 ET streets. This was a six speed....I sprayed right out of the hole too with a 260 shot on those runs. The only mod was a rear cover. When I finally put in the 12 bolt and removed the stock rear...one axle was twisted. But other than that all was well.

I would not recomend trying this...it can be dangerous. Its all a crap shoot on the quality of the rear you have VS how your suspension is setup. I always kept a lil too much tire PSI in the Et streets and I would spin the first 15 feet or so to low 1.5 sixty foots.
