Purge Question
Can I really do this
It would save me some money because, at this point I need a bottle heater with the thermostat and pressure switch.

As for now, I need a heater with the switch, so purge is gonna have to come later. I was really just wondering a cheaper way to do it cause I am strapped for cash a bit.

assuming that you know what you're doing (excluding certain members), it's absolutely fine to purge into a running engine in very short bursts, and even at part throttle. I can't believe what I read on here sometimes.

I purge into the engine during the burnout....
I also dissagree with WOT switches as a concept. Terribly dangerous things. Just use a button and none of the purge worries are there.
I really don't think I've ever been intimidated by a guy with a big purge.
1) Purging anywhere but as close to the nozzle as possible leaves gas in the lines. Purging into the engine is the only way to insure there is no gas in the line period.
2) There is no such thing as too much bottle pressure. Why in the world would you waste bottle pressure you paid money to get with a heater. I have NEVER... EVER wished I had less bottle pressure.
3) Looking cool as hell and comparing purge heights is not a concern. You might as well buy Nozzle lights and strobes.
Save the money on a "purge" valve and spend it on mods that actually work towards making you faster.
