Default Nitrous worries

I have a 98 z28 a4 60,159 mi daily driver, Ill be spraying a 100 shot wet kit. from dynotune. I will have a window switch wot switch, purge kit, bottle heater. everytime i fill up my gas I will put in two gallons of 100 octan to bring up my level because all they have is 91 here. I'll be getting my car tuned good. NGK TR6's new wires. installed a walbro 340 fuel pump and 37lb injectors. I want to know how safe I really am, this is my only car and it being my daily driver I cant afford "BOOM". I wont be spraying like an idiot maybe at most a 10lb bottle monthly.

Why are you running 37 lb injectors, arent you getting/have a wet kit ????Not to be a smartass but I think the 98's have big enough injectors to be safe on a 150 shot w/ a dry kit.

sorry about hijacing your thread,

how safe would this same setup be on the stock fuel system on a 99 ta. if it can handle it, what would be the max wet shot the stock system could handle

no problem smokeum99ta I actually went about two weeks ago to get my car tuned and my stock injectors are going bad. So I figured mise well go with 37lbs in the future im thinking of gettin a mild cam. Looking to put down 450 rwhp N/A so figured just go for 37lbs and be done with it.

You have an auto and you want 450rwhp on JUST a mild cam??? You could have some of the nastiest heads and cam out there, along with FAST 90 mm intake, 90mm TB, headers, full exhaust, etc. etc. etc. and be REAL lucky to get 450 rwhp through an auto! Don't bother with injectors now, you don't need them and they are a simple install later on. Actually you may have trouble getting the car tuned with the 37 lb injectors with such a stock car...

Get a bottle heater (automatic), nitrous filter, and MAYBE a timing tuner to retard timing if necessary (shouldn't be with 100 shot).

Most people say 100, some 150, hell some even claim they do a 200 shot on stock fuel system. I say with any nitrous system you need at least a better intank pump just to be sure.

380-400 sounds dahm good to me hit that with a 100-150 shot and I'll be doing fine then later on down the road rebuild the whole thing and direct port it. Putting down 380-400 n/a then hitting that with a 100-150 shot on some good dr's with a 12 bolt rear what kinda 1/4 mph am I looking at
